Description

The weBoost Drive X has been replaced by the weBoost Drive Reach Signal Booster

----------------------

The weBoost Drive X is the most advanced, most powerful vehicle signal booster ever made available to US consumers. Featuring maximum FCC-allowed gain plus maximum allowed uplink/downlink power output, the Drive 4G-X set a new standard in connection range and performance. With more than three times the uplink power of similar boosters, the Drive 4G-X (X for Xtended Range) provides cellular connectivity for everyone in the vehicle. It does this at a range up to 60% further from the tower than any other vehicle booster available. Boosts voice and data on all U.S. cellular networks including 4G LTE, while maintaining backward compatibility with 3G and 2G legacy networks.

The weboost Deive 4G-X covers all carriers in the United States using 800MHz and 1900MHz for phone calls as well as 3G Internet. It also covers most 4G frequencies.

  • All US Carriers - 800MHz, 1900MHz, 3G Internet
  • AT&T 4G 700MHz LTE
  • Verizon 4G 700MHz LTE
  • T-Mobile 4G 700MHz LTE & 1700/2100MHz
  • Sprint 1900MHz G

The weBoost Drive 4G-X gets you a better signal from further away.

Many things prevent you from getting the best cellular signal as you travel. Obstructions like hills, trees and distance from the signal source all affect call quality, 3G & 4G Internet speeds and GPS systems. The 4G-X can give you a cellular connection even in places you couldn't connect before. It offers stronger mobile connections by operating with the maximum output power allowed under current FCC regulations, extending your service range up to 60 percent farther than other boosters on the market. It substantially improves your cellular signal strength on all cellular-connected devices in your vehicle—including smartphones, hotspots, MiFi Devices, Mobile USB Modems, tablets and laptops

Installation

If you're handy with standard hand tools, installation is easy. It involves mounting the outside antenna and running cable to the amplifier (usually mounted under the driver seat), then run a cable from the amplifier to the inside antenna. The booster comes with a power supply that plugs into your vehicle's cigarette lighter. Here is more information on Mobile Booster Installation Instructions with a Video.

Each Signal Booster is individually tested and factory set to ensure FCC compliance. The Signal Booster cannot be adjusted without factory reprogramming or disabling the hardware. The Signal Booster will amplify, but not alter incoming and outgoing signals in order to increase coverage of authorized frequency bands only. If the Signal Booster is not in use for five minutes, it will reduce gain until a signal is detected. If a detected signal is too high in a frequency band, or if the Signal Booster detects an oscillation, the Signal Booster will automatically turn the power off on that band. For a detected oscillation the Signal Booster will automatically resume normal operation after a minimum of 1 minute. After 5 (five) such automatic restarts, any problematic bands are permanently shut off until the Signal Booster has been manually restarted by momentarily removing power from the Signal Booster. Noise power, gain, and linearity are maintained by the Signal Booster’s microprocessor.

The Manufacturer’s rated output power of this equipment is for single carrier operation. For situations when multiple carrier signals are present, the rating would have to be reduced by 3.5 dB, especially where the output signal is re-radiated and can cause interference to adjacent band users. This power reduction is to be by means of input power or gain reduction and not by an attenuator
