D-Link DWR-961 Router Antennas Boosters
How To Improve The Cell Signal To A D-Link DWR-961 4G LTE Router
If you have an issue getting a good cellular signal to your D-Link DWR-961 Router, we can help. We offer several different options for boosting your cell signal.
Attach An External Antenna
The D-Link DWR-961 4G AC1200 LTE Router has two LTE antennas. You can remove one or both antennas and add an external antenna. The connector types and genders are e SMA Female. You can connect an antenna with SMA Male connectors to one or both ports.
A good, inexpensive option to improving the signal is to attach an external antenna. To be most effective, the external antenna should be mounted where the cellular signal is best. This is usually near a window or outside wall - outdoors is always better.
The best antenna is the Wilson Wide Band Directional antenna. This antenna should be mounted outdoors and pointed towards the nearest service provider tower.
A small, more portable option would be one of the small omni-directional antenna below.
Signal Booster Systems
An even better option would be using a powered building or mobile signal booster system. A Signal Booster can not only boost the signal to your router, but will improve the signal to your cell phones and other cellular devices as well. Listed below are some options.
