How It Works

The Wilson SignalBoost Mini-Mobile Amp is comprised of two internal amplifiers that amplify a cell device's signal, to and from cell towers, unlike some amplifiers in the the market. Signals from a tower are picked up by the roof mounted antenna and sent to the first amplifier's receiver, which then boosts and re broadcasts the stronger signal inside the vehicle through the inside antenna. The sensitivity of the Wilson's design makes it capable of receiving signals that are weaker than most cell phones can receive., thereby significantly improving performance of cell phones (or data cards) inside a vehicle. The signal from the cell device is amplified by a second internal amplifier, which sends the signal back the cell tower with up to 6 times more power than a typical cell phone. The Wilson SignalBoost Mini- Amp extends overall signal range, allowing you to communicate with fewer dropped calls and from places you never could before!
