Antenna Options
Wilson Panel Antenna
The Wilson Panel antenna is typically used as an indoor antenna and is wall mounted but can be ceiling mounted on higher ceilings (10ft or higher). They work well across longer, more narrow areas. Since they typically reach further, they are the prefered inside antenna. The Panel antenna radiates 70 degrees for a more focused beam to reach longer distances. More Panel Antenna Information
Wilson Dome Antenna
The Wilson Dome Antenna is typically ceiling mounted. The Dome antenna radiates 360 degrees from ceiling down for a wider reach. They are the preferred antenna for lower ceilings to cover a wider antenna than a Panel antenna. The Vertical Polorized Dome antenna radiates from the ceiling downward. Use to get the farthest reach downward. The Dual Polorized Dome antenna radiates downward and slightly upwards. Use to radiates above a ceiling. More Dome Antenna Information.
Building Mount Omni Directional Antenna
Wilson Building Mount Omni-Directional Antenna covers 800/1900MHz frequencies. It is omni-directional. If you are trying to boost the signal from several service providers where their towers are in different directions, this is the preferred antenna. If you are trying to cover one service provider tower, consider the higher gain Wilson Wide Band Directional Antenna. More Wilson Building Mount Omni Directional Antenna Information
Wilson Wide Band Directional Antenna
Wilson Wide Band Directional Antenna covers 700-2500MHz frequencies. It is directional and performs best when pointed toward your cellular providers tower. If you are trying to boost the signal from one service provider tower, this is the preferred antenna. If you trying to cover multiple service providers and their towers are in different locations, consider the Building Mount Omni Directional Antenna. More Wilson Wide Band Antenna Information
Cable Options
Wilson 75 Ohm RG-6 Quad Shield cable is recommended for repeater type system as it is low loss.
Connectors: Use 75 OHM F connectors which come on the AG Pro 70 amplifiers, cable and antennas.
About the Wilson Electronics AG Pro 70
Adjustable Gain
One challenge of in-building signal booster installation is getting enough separation between the inside antenna and outside antenna to prevent oscillation between the two antennas. Oscillation will prevent the system from working properly. In a small building, for example, that has a good outside signal, it may be difficult to get 50-75 feet of antenna separation required to prevent oscillation. With a Wilson adjustable gain amplifier, you can adjust the gain down.
The AG Pro 70 delivers a maximum gain of 70dB at 1900 MHz and 70dB at 800 MHz. The gain can be adjusted from 40db to 70db For 1900MHz frequencies and 35db to 65db for 1800MHz frequencies.
The AG Pro 70 also includes Wilson’s patented automatic oscillation and cell site overload protection, and proximity detection technologies to prevent interference on the cellular network. It works with all cellular devices on all North American service provider networks on 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies (except Nextel/iDEN).
