The Drive X OTR amplifies existing cell signal from the nearest cell tower to bring extremely capable coverage to truckers anywhere on the road. The result is a reliable cell signal and the capability to receive a dispatch, find a safe rest stop, call home during lunch, stream music or use navigation with ease. Installation is a six-step process and the kit includes the all-new 4G-OTR antenna and mount, the Drive X signal booster, a slim low profile, secondary antenna, a mounting bracket and a 12V DC power supply.

FEATURES:

• weBoost Drive X 4G Mobile System - PLUS - 4G Trucker Antenna
• for RVs, Large Semi Trucks, Trailers
• Compatible with conventional 2G & 3G cellular voice and data networks, as well as 4G LTE data for most US carriers

4G Over-The-Road Antenna

The 4G-OTR antenna achieves a high gain signal output that surpasses other antennas of its size. Its compactness provides a low visual impact for drivers, yet it is designed to resist shock and wear in heavy-duty applications and rough conditions. It is also available in a shock spring mount and additional mast heights to accommodate a variety of drives.

Antenna Adjustable Mast Lengths

The OTR Antenna comes with two (2) mast extensions to get your antenna to your required length (typically above the roof of the vehicle).

    Length Without Extensions: 17 Inches
Length With One Extension: 30.25 inches
Length With Two Extension: 43.5 inches

Spring Length: 3 inches

About The Booster

Installation

If you're handy with standard hand tools, installation is easy. It involves mounting the outside antenna, running cable to the amplifier (usually mounted under the driver seat) then running cable from the amplifier to the inside antenna. Here is more information on Mobile Booster Installation Instructions with a Video.

Cascadia Model Trucks

Truckers with Cascadia model trucks with molded-style mirrors are recommended to mount the antenna to the top of the cab and may need to purchase additional materials or tools to properly secure.

Each Signal Booster is individually tested and factory set to make sure FCC compliance. The Signal Booster cannot be adjusted without factory reprogramming or disabling the hardware. The Signal Booster will amplify, but not alter incoming and outgoing signals to increase coverage of authorized frequency bands only. If the Signal Booster is not in use for five minutes, it will reduce gain until a signal is detected. If a detected signal is too high in a frequency band, or if the Signal Booster detects an oscillation, the Signal Booster will automatically turn the power off on that band. For a detected oscillation the Signal Booster will automatically resume normal operation after a minimum of 1 minute. After 5 (five) such automatic restarts, any problematic bands are permanently shut off until the Signal Booster has been manually restarted by momentarily removing power from the Signal Booster. Noise power, gain, and linearity are maintained by the Signal Booster’s microprocessor.

The Manufacturer’s rated output power of this equipment is for single carrier operation. For situations when multiple carrier signals are present, the rating would have to be reduced by 3.5 dB, especially where the output signal is re-radiated and can cause interference to adjacent band users. This power reduction is to be by means of input power or gain reduction and not by an attenuator
