Direct Connect Antennas & Amplifiers - External Antenna Adapter
We do have an external antenna adapter that fits the AT&T Mercury, however Wilson Electronics has reported that the adapter has the potential to damage the Mercury by breaking the pin inside the Mercury's RF port. This may disable the Mercury. For this reason we cannot recommend it's use with the Mercury. If you would like to use one at your own risk, use the one we have listed for the Sierra Wireless Compass.
Instead of risking damage to your device, we recommend the use one of the following wireless amplifiers that do not require a direct connection to the Mercury.

The Wilson Wireless Mobile Amplifier features the benefit of an external antenna and 3 watt amplifier without a physical connection to your AT&T USBConnect Mercury.
It even allows multiple phones or data cards to be used simultaneously.
The signal is received by the outside antenna from the cell site. It is then amplified and repeated to your cell phone or data card from the inside antenna. When the phone or data card transmits, the signal is received by the inside antenna, amplified, then repeated to the cell site via the outside antenna.
