Adapter Ports

The Pantech UML-290 has 2 external antenna ports located on the back. One is for 3G network and the other is for 4G network. Looking at the back of the device, with the ports on top, the 3G port is on the left and the 4G port is on the right.

3G and 4G Antennas

To attach an external antenna directly to the UML290, you will need an antenna adapter (AA359921) listed below. Most dual band (800MHz / 1900MHz) antennas will cover 3G networks. For Verizon 4G LTE, use an antenna that covers 700MHz frequency range such as the Wilson Wide Band Log Per Directional Antenna
