AT&T Unite Explore AC815s Hotspot

How To Boost The Cell Signal To An AT&T Unite Explore AC 815s Hotspot.

AT&T Unite Explore Hotspot AC815sImprove your Internet speeds by boosting the cellular signal to your AT&T Unite Explore Netgear AirCard 815S. A stronger cell signal means faster Internet speeds. We offer a several different options to boost the cell signal strength to your AC815s hotspot device:

  • Add One or Two External Antennas
  • Small Powered Booster - Wilson Signal 4G Data Pro
  • Mobile Repeater Signal Booster
  • Building Repeater Signal Booster - Cover a room or a whole building.

Attach A Cellular Antenna

A cost-effective way to increase the cellular signal strength to your AT&T Unite Explore device is to attach an external antenna. The AC815s has two small TS-9 antenna ports on the side (covered by plugs). We have an external antenna adapter (see products below) that connects to either or both ports and to an antenna. We offer a variety of cellular antennas you can attach for buildings or vehicles.

The Unite Explore is a MIMO device that uses two antennas for a more reliable signal. Adding one external antenna to either port usually works fine. Two external antennas can work better by providing a more reliable signal.

Powered Cellular Amplifier

A powered cellular amplifier works by taking the available wireless signal, amplifying it, then re broadcasting it to and from your cellular device.

For a direct connection to the hotspot, consider the Wilson Signal 4G DataPro amplifier

You can also use powered amplifiers including cellular repeater type systems that don't connect to your device at all.

Other Options

Below are other options to boost the signal to your hotspot. More powerful solutions can also boost the signal in larger areas within buildings and vehicles.

4G Signal

For boosting the 4G signal to your Hotspot, select a 4G signal booster. The boosters below all improve the cell signal for AT&T''s 700MHz LTE 4G frequency as well as their 3G signal.
