Wilson Wireless Mobile Cellular Signal Amplifier

The Wilson Wireless Mobile 3 Watt signal booster is the powerful amplifier you can use in your vehicle. It's 3 watt power and short range broadcast area make it ideal for vehicle applications even in areas with a very weak or non existent cell signal.

It features the benefit of an external antenna and 3 watt amplifier without a physical connection to your phone. It even allows multiple phones to be used simultaneously. The signal is received by the outside antenna from the cell site. It is then amplified and repeated to your cell phone from the inside antenna.

The Wireless mobile system consists of an outside antenna, amplifier, inside antenna and power supply. Basically, the cell signal is captured by the outside antenna to the amplifier where it is boosted and re broadcast through the inside antenna to your cell phone or cellular data card. It's that simple.

Home or Office Option

You can add an optional 6 volt AC power supply and use this Wilson Amplifier at your desk in your home or office. Just place the outside antenna outside a window and get at least 6 ft of separation between the inside and outside antennas. Add a carry case and you have a powerful and portable cellular power booster.

TECH TIP: Coverage area from the inside antenna is limited by signal strength received by the outside antenna. If your cellular signal is very weak (2 bars or less) outside your vehicle or building, place your cell phone or PC card directly on the inside antenna for the most power. We would recommend using your Bluetooth headset for freedom of movement in these situations.

How It Works

The Wilson Wireless Mobile 3 Watt Amplifier has been carefully engineered by Wilson Electronics to significantly improve the performance of your cell phone or cellular data card in mobile applications. Together with an outside antenna (sold separately or in kits), the Wilson amplifier’s state-of-the-art technology is designed to increase your signal up to 10 times, reduce disconnects and dropouts, and increase data communication rates needed for 3G technologies.

The outside antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to the amplifier. The signal is then boosted and sent through the inside antenna. Your cell phone or data card then communicates with the improved signal. When the cell phone or data card transmits, the signal goes through the inside antenna, is boosted by the amplifier and broadcast back to the cell tower through the outside antenna.

Each Mobile Wireless Amplifier System contains an amplifier, a Low-Profile inside antenna, a 6-foot coaxial extension cable, a universal external antenna adapter, and a power cable that plugs into a 12-volt cigarette lighter adapter.

The Magnet Mounts are recommended for ease of installation and mobility.
