The Wilson SIGNALBOOST™ Cellular/PCS signal amplifier improves wireless mobile signals on both Cellular (824-894 MHz excluding iDen frequencies) and PCS (1850-1990 MHz) bands.
The Wilson SignalBoost™ works with Verizon, US Cellular, Cellular One, Alltel, Bell Canada, Telus, Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile and all other Cellular and PCS carriers.

No Device Specific External Antenna Adapter Required
A Wilson DirectConnect power booster is a wireless extender that provides the ultimate in cell phone signal improvement however, the DirectConnect requires an external antenna adapter specific to your cellular phone's make and model. If no external antenna adapter is available for your device, the Wilson SignalBoost is the next best thing. It connects to your wireless phone or Data Card using the supplied universal connector. No other phone adapter is required. The connector is attached to your device using a velcro patch.

Wireless 3G broadband service (EV-DO, EDGE/GPRS, HSDPA/ UMTS, etc.) from providers like Cingular, Sprint and Verizon is becomming more and more popular. Wireless broadband services like these that use the same frequencies as your cell phone can also benefit from the Wilson SignalBoost™.
How the Wilson SignalBoost Works
The Wilson SignalBoost™ Cellular Signal Amplier has been carefully engineered to signicantly improve the performance of your cell phone or cellular data card in both vehicle and home/ofce applications. Together with an antenna (sold separately), the amplier’s state-of-the-art technology is designed to increase your signal up to 15 times, reduce disconnects and dropouts, and increase data communication rates needed for 3G technologies. The universal connector ts all cellular and PCS phones and data cards.
The external cell phone antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to the amplier.
The signal is then boosted and sent through the extension cable to the universal connector
on your cell phone or data card, which then communicates with the improved signal. When
the cell phone or data card transmits, the signal goes through the universal connector
and the extension cable, is boosted by the amplier and broadcast back to the cell tower
through the antenna.

NOTE: Use of this amplier with an antenna gain higher than 6.12 dBi is in violation of FCC regulations for which the offender is fully liable. All Wilson mobile antennas are 6.12 dBi or less.
