The cellular repeater kit offers the same benefits as the kit noted above, but includes the Wilson Cell Phone Cradle Plus instead of the low profile antenna.

The Wilson Cell Phone Cradle Plus is a versatile car cradle with a built-in antenna. Using the cradle not only extends cellular range and provides better coverage, but it allows drivers to keep both hands on the wheel when using their cell phones, greatly increasing safety. Home or Office Too!

Add an optional 6 volt AC power supply (below) and use this Wilson Amplifier at your desk in your home or office. Just place the outside antenna outside a window and get at least 6 ft of separation between the 2 antennas. Need to cover more area in side your home or office? TECH TIP: Coverage area from the inside antenna is limited by signal strength received by the outside antenna. If your cellular signal is very weak (2 bars or less) outside your vehicle or building, place your cell phone or pc card directly on the inside antenna for the most power. We would recommend using your Bluetooth headset for freedom of movement in these situations.

Additional Antenna Requirements (Important)

The Wilson In Vehicle Amplifier comes with a Wilson Low Profile Antenna for inside your vehicle. Another antenna for outside the vehicle is required.

Required Antenna Separation

Separation of inside and outside antennas is very important. The metal roof of the vehicle acts as a barrier and helps shield the two antennas from each other, preventing oscillation.

If the vehicle has a sunroof, it is important to separate the inside and outside antennas by at least five feet. This prevents the amplifier from overloading or oscillating.

IMPORTANT: For external antenna use a magnetic mount, pole mount or hole mount antenna. Do not use a glass mount antenna. The Wilson Trucker Antenna, Wilson Dual Band magnetic mount are recommended for outside use. More About Wilson Antennas.
