Building Cellular Repeater System

The Wilson Electronics SignalBoost DB Pro Dual Band cellular repeater greatly improves signal strength for any cellular device inside a building on most networks. It does not require any physical connection to your phone allowing you to walk around freely during a call. It even allows multiple cell phones and/or Data Cards to be used simultaneously.

Building Repeater System

The Wilson DB Pro™ In Building repeater is a small, bi-directional amplifier that deliver service levels consistent with what would be expected in areas of high cell network coverage. They amplify a weak or shadowed cellular signal and repeat it in an in-building application. When using a Wilson amplifier in conjunction with Wilson antennas, the outside antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to the amplifier. The signal is then amplified and broadcast from the inside antenna to the surrounding area. Cell phones and mobile broadband cellular data cards can that area then communicate with the improved signal. When a cell phone or cellular device transmits, the signal is received by the inside antenna, amplified by the amplifier and broadcast back to the cell tower through the outside antenna.

Adjustable Gain

The Wilson DB Pro now features adjustable gain. An installation challenge of in-building signal boosters is getting enough separation between the inside antenna and outside antenna to prevent oscillation between the two antennas. Oscillation will prevent the system from working properly. The installer is usually faced with several fixed gain amplifier options. For example, in a small building, with a good outside signal, it may be difficult to get 50-75 feet of antenna separation required to prevent oscillation. With a Wilson adjustable gain amplifier, you can adjust the gain downwards to get the coverage you need, without oscillation.

The Wilson SignalBoost DB Pro is easy to install. All components are interconnected using standard TV cable (Quad Shield RG-6) which is easily available and often found already installed, simplifying cable runs.
