The Wilson Electronics AG Pro 70 is an In-Building, dual band, cellular signal booster. It is an easy to install and designed to provide a strong cellular signal inside mid sized buildings.

The Wilson AG Pro 70 delivers gain that can be adjusted. The adjustable range is from 40db to 70db For 1900MHz frequencies and 35db to 65db for 800MHz frequencies. The gain can be adjusted in 5db increments. The AG Pro 70 is a 75Ohm amplifier system that uses more commonly found 75Ohm RG-6 QuadShield Cable.

Why Adjustable Gain?

An installation challenge of in-building signal boosters is getting enough separation between the inside antenna and outside antenna to prevent oscillation between the two antennas. Oscillation will prevent the system from working properly. The installer is usually faced with several fixed gain amplifier options. For example, in a small building, with a good outside signal, it may be difficult to get 50-75 feet of antenna separation required to prevent oscillation. With a Wilson adjustable gain amplifier, you can adjust the gain downwards to get the coverage you need, without oscillation.

The AG Pro 70 also includes Wilson’s patented automatic oscillation and cell site overload protection, and proximity detection technologies to prevent interference on the cellular network. It works with all cellular devices on all North American service provider networks on 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies (except Nextel/iDEN).

Will This Signal Booster System Work For You?

This signal booster requires a moderate strength signal outside, where you mount the outside antenna. It boosts signals in the 800MHz and 1900MHz ranges. The stronger that signal, the more coverage area will be boosted inside the building. This amplifier will provide little or no coverage inside a building if the building is located in an area where the outside signal strength is weak or non existent.
